About our worship style:
Transfiguration Church offers a traditional service including Holy Eucharist every week.
The liturgical style of our church is open and relaxed yet liturgical. We follow the Book of Common Prayer. The services are led by our Rector and Lay Readers read lessons from Old and New Testament. Prayers are also included for the congregation, the community, the country and the world.
An important part of our worship service is the Passing of Peace. At this time in our service we joyfully greet all who are worshiping with us. It is a time for us to reach out and energetically share a warm welcome, a kind word and a heartfelt smile with each other!
Service continues with The Eucharist, a time when all are invited to come forward and receive the bread and the wine from the rail. The Rector sends us forth with a blessing and we retire downstairs to the parish hall for coffee and refreshments.
